Polen surfcraft range: the rundown Part 1

The Polen surf craft series is a collection of surfboards that are not just aesthetically pleasing, they will tear apart your local break in conditions ranging from knee high to as big as you are comfortable surfing, from summer grovellers to barrel hunters this range has you covered.

The range starts with the Fast Forward

The FFW is based on a classic Mini Simmons but a touch more refined, allowing more aggressive surfing. A low entry rocker helps with paddling and quick take-offs. Roll to single to vee bottom on the fins. Recommended with a 5-fin setup, this is a fun board to surf either as a thruster or as a quad.

Our stock board is 5’6 x 21 x 2 9/16, click the image below to check it out on our website.

Next up is my personal favourite, i have been so close to buying this board a few times but know i need to lose a few extra pounds before i can.

The Sail Fish is a new take on the classic California twin keels. A low rocker, down rails, flat dome and a large swallow tail gives this board tons of drive and projection on rail-to-rail surfing. This is a fast, precise and easy to paddle board. Flat or roll to vee bottom.

And to wrap up the shorter boards is the Twisted model, it’s a winged swallow that is definitely meant for better waves in comparison to the shorter wider boards above.

This model is based on a modern twin fin template, but also works great as a thruster. It is a fast board with low entry rocker, but unlike a common twin fin it was designed with some exit rocker, allowing faster and tighter turns and top to bottom surfing.

A single to vee bottom gives this board a great front foot drive and allows for easy rail-to-rail surfing.

Our stock model is 6’0 x 20 1/2 x 2 1/2
