Longboarding is an art form. From its hey-day of the mid 1960's - surf films like the Endless Summer and Gidget propelled it in to the statosphere for a few short years until the shortboard revolution in 1968. But the 1966 World Longboard Champ, ironicaly also forfather of the shortboard revolution, Nat Young, would bring performance longboarding back in the 90's and with a cultural movement in the 00's a traditionalist 60's style would return with the likes of CJ Nelson. With the two forms often meeting in the middle for the WSL events, Longboarders such as Kai Sallas, Ben Skinner and Taylor Jenson bring the progression with style.
