When it comes to luxury cars worth the price of a small home, people tend to be understandably precious. The terms ‘my baby’ and ‘pride and joy’ are often thrown about.
Therefore, when Wayne mentioned he had a project lined up with the team over at Castle Motors I knew it wasn’t one to be missed.
On a sunny Sunday morning I turned off the A38 into the forecourt glinting with all manner of sleek and beautiful 4 wheeled creations, a real petrol head’s dream. Contrasting sharply was the sight of a giant airbag and metal framed, cheese wedge set up either side of the showroom entrance. The throaty echo of his motorbike being revved enthusiastically filled the air, as unsuspecting visitors gathered to see what all the noise was about.
The showroom doors were rolled back and out came purring a selection of high-end motors, to be positioned carefully so this 2-wheeled rocket could take to the skies over them. The onlookers intrigue was soon replaced with gasps of amazement as he filled the sky with body contorting, death defying acts of trickery. Freestyle motocross has got to be one of man’s riskier hobbies, however this rather unique setup upped the ante considerably.
Luckily for the cars, Wayne’s one of the best bike wranglers in the UK and this is all just in a “days work”. Everyone is attendance agreed that this was one of the craziest things they’d seen, so thanks to Wayne for the vision and Castle Motors for having the belief that this could be pulled off.
